After three glorious years sailing in the Mediterranean we have reluctantly decided sell Isabella, our Contest 43.
So if you want to buy a lightly used, superbly maintained, excellently equipped Contest 43 (1993) then you've come to the right place.

The Contest 43 is an outstanding cruising yacht, built to the highest standards and equipped to go anywhere in comfort and safety. She is 13 m in length, 4 m beam and 1.75 draft with a winged keel and skeg-hung rudder providing strength, stability and comfort at sea.
She is cutter rigged with the genoa, staysail and main all on furlers for absolute ease of handling. Her rigging was replaced in 2013 when the cutter rig was added. The main is only a few years old and the previous one is in good condition as a spare. The genoa and staysail are in good condition and she has a gennaker in excellent condition.
Her 100 hp Volvo Penta is in excellent condition and has been maintained to the highest standards and has 2500 hours (approximately). In addition to her Monitor windvane steering she has two separate autohelms - a raymarine new in 2013 and an older B&G which needs a repair to the head unit but is otherwise sound. Other navigation equipment includes a touchscreen Watchmate AIS (2014), a new Raymarine C80 chart plotter and a new Garmin fishfinder/depth sounder as well as a Phillips Navigator GPS, a Network repeater of the B&G instruments at the nav station and a Furuno 24 mile radar. Communications include VHF and SSB radios.
She comes with a water maker (64 lt per hour), ducted Webasto diesel fired central heating, HLF diesel generator, 1500 watt inverter, new house and start batteries and generator start battery as well as new smart regulator and alternator. She also has an Ampair 100 tow/wind generator.
The interior of beautifully crafted teak is in excellent condition and the accommodation includes a V-berth cabin and a large, luxurious aft cabin with an island queen size bed - both cabins with ensuite bathrooms. The settees in the saloon are both comfortable berths with lee cloths.
The well-equipped galley includes a three burner stove with oven and microwave and an excellent, well-thought out storage system, hot and cold pressure water system as well as manual pumps for fresh and sea water.
The are 2 fridges - one sea water cooled. Both fridges have freezer compartments.
She has three anchors - an excellent Delta with 80 mts of new 10mm chain, a CQR with 60 mts of 10mm chain and a Danforth with 10 mts of 10mm chain and 40 mts of rode, which is also for the drogue.
She has all appropriate saftey gear. Her life raft was new in 2012 and she has a new EPIRB in a self release case mounted with the liferaft. Both the dinghy, with inflateable keel, and the 5 hp Honda outboard were new in 2015.
